I am trying to use output generated by PZT (piezoelectric module) under strain to charge mobile battery. The output varies from -3 v to 8 v and duration of voltage produced is 5ms. The objective is to produce a constant output of 5v. Please suggest a circuit to obtain the desired result.

    Hi,

For such voltage levels, I think you can try the normal rectifier circuit using 7805. It will work only if your piezo have enough sourcing current to drive the components. Go through its data sheet if any, and find out the maximum output current.
