PID using atmega16

hey guys 

i am new to avr but a love to work with microcontrollers 

i have made simple line followers and wall followers object dectors and other stuffs

but this time for college project i am building a lfr with PID 

 

but have problems using the timer 1 of atmega16

if someone has tutorials for atmega16 timer one please mail me the link
