pic18f4550 icsp problem

 i am workin on pic18f4550 icsp programmer which is JDM type serial programmer. i am trying to make pic development board. when i program the controller the execution dosent started automatically. i have to disconnect the MCLR pin of programmer. the MCLRE bit of config register is activate.

 

it is necessary to do this or i am doing  any silly mistake with circuit or config bits. plz reply if any one knows the answer.

Is the Jdm serial Programmer  your working is detecting your Device Properly??

Which software you are using to transfer the code to MCU??

 

 

i think there is a problem with your configuration bits itself .
