Microcontroller › 8051 › oven related control with 8051
Hello all,
I want to make an project in which I wish to :-
1. Set the Temperature & Timer for the Oven. (i/p will be user desired, Range @<=200^C)
2. Track the Temperature of the Oven. (Sensor used is RTD PT100)
3. When the Temperature Set point is attained by the oven it Should Trigger the Timer. (@<=1 hr time )
4. When Timer meets the Set point it should Trigger the Buzzer.
5. Option to repeat the Same settings with Buzzer reset.
Help me on this with the Schematic, Programmong & other things.
Also tell me Where to get Development Kit for 8051 7 How much it costs?
Need it urgently, awaits for your replies.
Thanks & Regards-
Amit
very good project
you will need RTC – real time clock chip
i suggest you build project using arduino. it will be very simple then
Hello sir,
It will be a great help if you can guide me step by step in coding this project with 8051.
Please do help me.
Thanks & Regards-
Amit
8051 is used in college syllabus only dear friend.
for development, repid prototyping, projects – everyone uses AVR micro controllers, PIC micro controllers, or prototyping boards like aurdino or MSP430 etc.
making such projects with 8051 is hard because it has no built in ADC, IIC that are essential for it.
Hello sir,
I haven't used any of the other controllers yet; as per your suggestion which one will be the best for me.
Suggest readings for the same.
Need support to do that in future too & considering one from you.
Thanks & Regards-
Amit
Sir,
You had suggested me Arduino for this project, I wish to know how much does its programming differ from the 8051 & how it will ease my task/s. Give me a link to grt brief about the arduino.
Also suggest the arduino board name to use/buy, considering start-up + future modernizations.
Thanks –
Amit
i suggested arduino because its especially ment for rapid prototyping and development
it has huge community and support
just go through http://www.arduino.cc you will get tutorials, step by step guidance, library etc all
