New to Sensor Technologies

I am looking for a sensor which can prevent moving of the objects and keep the grouping of about 30-50 objects together. When anyone moves; it does not let them. Any thought will be appreciated or welcomed. Thanks!

FOR THIS PROJECT I AM CONSIDERING TO USE ARDUINO OR RASPBERRY Pi.  Any suggestion will be appreciated  thanks!

Hi All,

I am a student and intending to build something to prevent moving of chairs from one classroom to another classroom and I thought this would be an ideal project for my class.  I am not electrical engineer.  I am intending to create something with Arduino microprocessor & having  sensors attach to each chair so that anytime any chair moved  from one room to another, then Arudino on sensor should sound to prevent moving of chairs to another classrooms.  Each classroom at my school have different colors.  At this point, I am not really sure what I would need to complete my project.  Any thought or any suggestions will be appreciated.  Thanks!

u need to attach wireless sensor with each chair in same classroom

then u have to form a network of all these sensors. this technology is called wireless sensor network (WSN) rapidly developing techonology now

it is very much difficult task and also not applicable for such simple applications. but this is one of the way
