    Hello friends,
I am a software guy having good programming knowledge(Java, python) with little/no knowledge in electronics/electrical field. The only thing that I know about electronics is through the magazine “Electronics for you”. Now I am planning to do M.E in embedded system technology since I am very much interested in it. Kindly guide me where to start as I am completely new to this field. Thank you

Although you are interested in embedded system it may be difficult for you as in IT related field there is little or no knowledge of how hardware works. Both Java,Python are high level languages but in embedded you have to deal with assembly language. However it is not difficult if you are interested in it and you can understand about how processor, microcontroller works.

Thanks for reply. Could you please tell where should I begin? I mean the books/topics that are required for basics.
