Need help- Vending Machine

Good day!.

 

first of all, sorry for my bad english

 

 

i’m about to proposed a design for our subject entitled rice vending machine.

i look for some reference and got some ideas on how it works. 

but still i cannot determine the proper procedure of it. i mean for example, i insert some coins that is sufficient to buy 1kg of rice. then my problem is, how can the machine determine that it is 1kg, and stop it at exactly at that point. what materials do i need to do that?

A Load Cell is perfect for your project. Find some circuits based on it like ‘electronic weighing machine’ with the help of the google.
