Hello, I am new to the power supply design . I want to design a power supply having 24V, 3A output. I have the 24V AC transformer , but the input for the bridge is about 18V . So , I have step down it to 18 V. I am using the LM350t as a regulator. Will it work?
I got the correct output range in the above circuit. But the 3A current is not obtained. How to get it?
It will not show you 3A when you measure, with the above circuit you can use any devices upto 3Amps.
Check whether transformer can drive upto 3A.
If yes, then try to increase the load(reduce load resistance).
