I have got a 4*4 matrix keypad and I have a confusion that it will produce DTMF frequencies or not.

Can someone help me out in telling that will it produce DTMF frequencies or not?

For convenience I have attached my keypad’s photo:-

    Hi Mridul,

You need a DTMF encoder IC to be connected with the keypad to produce DTMF frequencies. You can use a DTMF decoder IC to decode the same.

Suggest you to use UM91214 as DTMF encoder and MT8870 as DTMF decoder.
