I have Li-Ion battery of 3.7V . It drains upto to 0V in stand by mode while connected with instrument. Battery is rechargeable and cause problem while recharging the battery once its fully drain.Sometimes it wont pick up while recharging. I want to stop draining the battery at 3V at its end od discharge.

When the instrument is in stand by mode and in the absence of human being battery drains fully and then its difficult to pick up again while charging.

I want to give it protection i.e.

    1. Over charge
    2. Over discharge.

I have implemented this by using MM3280 and Mosfet AM8205. Now the problem is when i insert the battery the instrument does not power on. While I repeat several times i.e. insert and remove the battery hardly it works for once or twice.

Can anybody tell me how IC MM3280 functioning means how it works with mosfet AM8205.

Now i am unable to find the the problem. Can anybody guide me to get out of the problem.

    Thanks in Advance !!!!

    Regards,

    shiv
