LED Basment store lighting

Hi,

I have a task to be implement installing 12 V LED Lighting system to a basement storage compartment where meet frequent blackouts.. My ideas is to design a circuit that charges 12 V, 14- to 50 A battery while provides 12v DC to LED lightnings, can be ope ratable thru mains or battery with a switch..
