Microcontroller › Arduino › lcd not displaying
hey hi…
i have been using lcd 16*2 from a while.. earlier it used work fine..it used to print whatever i wanted to print..now it is not able to print even hello world ..it is just displaying a barcode kind of boxes..why is it so ?
Check with other LCD if you have
If you are using it on breadboard make sure that all connection you've made for LCD data lines is intact. If LCD had been exposed to moisture let it dry. You can use hair dryer for that. If you have modified program check if there is sufficient delay between sending commands so LCD can get time to process it.
test LCD with same HW prototype and same program code that was working fine
check out for LCD brightness pot. vary LCD brightness by varying pot
if still u get problem then change display
