    Hi

    I’m making a project lcd based electronic voting machine using 89c51. I’ve taken the code from engineers garage but its not working.

    My simulation on proteus is working fine. But practically it doesnt work. Plz help!!

    Hi,

     

    Tune(adjust) the variable resistor placed between pin number 2 & 3 of LCD.

    Please specify the kind of problem that you have with the project ? Is there any display on the LCD? Your LCD got initialized or not ?

    Thanx alot everyone but i got it fixed. The problem was that the reset was to be connected with a button where a capacitor and resistor both were to be connected to voltage whereas in the schematic of engineers garage resistor is connected to gnd.
