LCD in 4Bit On ATMEGA8

                         I want to use LCD in 4 bit mode and i had wrote a c code. When i run that code on my board lcd doesnt display anything…. Can any one tell me how to program lcd in 4 bit mode in avr atmega8L……. 

 

                          My Port Configurations are LCD DATA PORT is PORTD (D4,D5,D6,D7)

                                                                Command Pin RS (C5), E (C4)………..

Suggest you to share your code so that someone can point out the errors. Also check your hardware connections thoroghly.
