LCd display

I have interfaced at89c51 with lcd connections ..for me lcd back light is only glowing , the display is not previewed …can you pls help me ..am stuck in d middle of the project

The problem could be there in your circuit or code or both. Suggest you to post the circuit and code so that you will get better help.

First check voltage at 3rd pin. It must be greater than 3V for better view. Post hadware connections and program..!!

do u see black squares on LCD? 

have you connected pot to vary brightness?

if no then connect it.

if yes then vary it.
