Electronics › Electronics › IR LED ON when touch with hand
Hi All,
I am using IR LED in of my application. Its Vf(min)=2.7V and Vf(max).7V. Initially the LED was working. After some few days it is not working. I checked for the dry solder, but there is no dry solder. But when I touch the IR LED with my palm it is getting ON. I am confused why it is behaving like this.
Pls help me out in this.

what is ur application?
what is ur circuit?
Hi,
It is a simple LED on/off circuit by using N Channel MOSFET.

Check the continutity of the circuit. check the voltage at the IR LED terminal
Hi,
I am getting the Vcc voltage across LED. I think LED became open circuit.
If this is the thing, what may be the reasons?
