I need to interface a PROXIMITY SENSOR– a IR PAIR

(which already contains LM358 circuit) to a 8051 microcontroller.

Do I need to use any ADC or can I connect it directly to any port ???

proximity sensor gives high/low output. so u can easily connect it with port any pin. no need of ADC
