    how to provide clock to ADC0808 while intefacing with 89c51

    you can provide the clock from controller itself.. for external clock try using two 7474 in series as has been given here..

    its simple ,if you have two D flip flop. the circuit is

    Two ‘D’Flip flop is required for give clock to ADC0808. In MC crystal oscillator output is given to clk of D flip flop, and then ‘D’ flip flop output is given to ADC.
