Hi Engineersgarage.
I have had an idea for a project in my head for some time, that involves (asynchronous) MCU communcation "on top of a non-zero DC voltage". I have seen this done in washing machines, just with higher voltages. I would like to hear if anyone has experience with something similar, regarding basic topology, what way to go around it? The PSU should output 9VDC as normal supply (and logical low), and 12V as logical high. The steady 9VDC should be able to supply at least 350mA (5-700mA would be better), and communication /clock speed preferably up to 1Mhz.
Hope someone has inputs, mainly with the electronics around the transmitter/receiver interface transistor-/op amp topology.

Please, Ask Question clearly and as i understand if you want to high voltage output at the logic high of MCU then you can connect Relay that opearate as a switch and Make Switch close to connected with power supply .
Thanks for the repply! It has to be able to switch between 9V (logical LOW) and 12V (Logical HIGH), fast enough to communicate at max. 1Mhz acting as a PSU at the same time, so a Relay would be to slow and noicy for the job.
Any IC that generate PWM upto 12v may be work for fast switching .
