I am trying to use ALTERA cyclone and averlogic FIFO DRAM AL422/462 or CYPRESS FIFO DRAM to make a simple

video capture mode, using ALTERA FPGA and FIFO DRAM I think this is a good idea.

if there is anyone suggestion please let me know.

I really have not found a way to add the DRAM 128bit FIFO to the design. Adding normal DRAM and target specific FIFO's and host-target FIFO's is easy, but the special DRAM implemented as a giant FIFO I could not find how to add. And I have searched the documentation – but obviously missed the key point. I use LabVIEW 2013. Any hints are appreciated. Thanks, Toshiba Support Team

Learn about the differences between ASIC & FPGA , usage of FPGA's for prototyping mobile SoC architecture, Moore's law and many important concepts in this video whoch can help you come up with a better implementation.

you can choose any FPGA board from digilent, terasis, xilinx etc provided it has HDMI port and could be coupled with enough BRAM or DRAM as per the video processing requirement….video processing is an intensive task and interfacing and RAM are most important factors in case
