How to use inbuilt I2C of LPC2148 for store and read char string from EEPROM 2404

I’m using EEPROM to store and access my data, i want to access all 16 bytes of my data on the basis of external interrupt by a switch. currently i’m able to use it for only single bit read operation. i’m looking forward to read complete 16 byte data from my EEPROM, but unable to accomplish
Please help me.
