how to transfer data from 89c51 over internet

hello there 

 

this is vipin jasoria 

I am making a security project in which we are counting the persons entering the room and going out of the room .. this data is saving in microcontroller and now i want that data to transmitt over internet so we can watch from far across the world that how many coustomers are coming and how much are going ..

 

then main problem is how to transmitt data from microconroller to internet to a particular Internet protocol and port

using aurdino with ethernet shield its possible but i dont know weather its possible with 8051 or not……. or using VB software…

i need simple and cost effective solution and for me wlan transmition will go but which ic i should use for that and how to interface that with 89c51
