Microcontroller › PIC › How to interface stepper motor with pic16f877a device ?…
Hai every one i need your’s help. I do my project interface stepper motor with pic16f877a. I was purchased some stepper motors from autonics brand that have different colour wires. what can i do. also i am using CCS C compiler so please any one help me.. Thak you very much for every one
Hey SureshKumar,
One of the ways to figure out which wires form one phase of the motor is check for resistance using a multimeter.
For a bipolar stepper, you will get resistance between two wires which will be of one of the coils in the motor.
If there are 6 wires, one common pin will show small resistance compared to other pins.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
