    what binary code should i give to DAC0808 input pins ( i.e. D0-D1) so that i can get 0 volt , 1 volt , 2 volt , 3 volt , 4 volt ,5 volt.

basically i want to drive a vibrating motor from DAC0808 , & by using 89C51 uC . i want to vibrate it variably

but how to get the variable voltage from DAC0808

    please respond me

zohaib use the encoding technique here

    like

    A B C

    0 0  1       1VOTLS

    0 1 0        2 VOLTS

SLU g this is not the way to CODE this

man u should first go through MAZIDI for DAC0808

@zobi : i think salman is right. cos i m using ADC and in that when i applied analog value it will convert digital for the same. similarly DAC will work. so he is right.

no man he is not right

    because…

i have done it practically :)

i know how to produce voltages from dac0808

ya sure KUNAL , these all calculations are taken practically by me , but first you have to make the DAC0808 circuit from DAC0808 data sheet , LF351 IC is also attached with DAC0808 output pin, when i was making this i apllied 5 volt , and set the LF351 GAIN to 5 volt, basically DAC0808 does not produce voltage it produce DC current maximum 2 ma, give me points NICE , COOL or SUPERB if you found this information useful
