Hi,

Constructing a GSM module is a very tedious task and I would recommed you to purchase one. Google SIM300DZ, it is popular GSM module and can be bought from any local or internet based electronic store.

I bought a gsm modem and I am trying to connect power supply to it. How do i do it? is it by using a dc power supply?
