    hello good evening,

first ill explain about my project

actually we are placing a ir sensor on the road, when ever a car strikes the beam, a message should be sent from the transmitter to the receiver inside the car, and a message should be displayed on the LCD display inside the car.

for example: the message would be like, PETROL BUNK 2KMS AHEAD, PLEASE STAY LEFT

so the drivers can take decisions prior to the destination

So this is my project, and i want a circuitry for this to execute, and all my efforts gone in vain, can any one please help me doing this??

    Thank you,

    A.Rahul

    Hi Rahul,

Nice project. For the IR sensor circuit you can refer the following link.

Try this circuit first and keep updating here so that we can help you to complete your project.

thank you sir for your valuable comments..

but sir, actually we are using 8051 micro controller, so we need to interface this IR sensors with the micro controller

and when ever the beam between the sensors gets break, a message from the micro controller should be sent to the receiver inside the car, so for this we have to use a transmitter at the controller too,..

and I thought of placing a IR transmitter at the other end of controller to send the messages, but sir can we send the message even if the IR transmitter and receiver(inside the car) are not in the same axes???
If not ,then what is the alternative for this sir??

can we use any other transmitter to transmit the message ??

    WAITING FOR YOUR PRECIOUS COMMENTS

AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING US…
    thank you,

    Rahul
