    Hi all!

I’m learn about trasmission and recevier by Led. I’m using TSAL6200 and TSOP1838 with pt2248, pt 2249( for code and decode, respectively). I wonder how far i can reach??? How can I calculate for transmission circuit and recevier circuit in order to best result?

    ( Example: TSAL6200’s datasheet note: forward current is 100mA-1A, i want 400mA, how can i make it?,…)

    i hope everybody help me!

    Thanks!

what do u mean by “how far i can reach?”

do u want to increase IR range?

the standard range of any IR led is around 10 mt.

if you want to go beyond that just search for IR range extender in google
