    Hi all

i would like to know that i am interfacing SR04 with 8051 only for obstacle detection not for measuring distance…

i have read all the information but i am unable it to program it on micrcontroller……….(8051)

my sequency of program is such that

first when turn on the power:   (message on LCD(16×2)   ” welcome  “

then if any object come near to sensor then message would display  “hurdle occurs “…

    hope you get my point…….

so please  help me and guide me asasp

    regards

    Bilal

there are 2 control pins in this sensor

    1) echo

    2) trig

trig is an input pin and echo pin is an output from sensor

a high pulse input is given to trig pin

then we have to wait for echo output from sensor

if there is any obstacle in sensor range then there is echo output from sensor otherwise no output
