    Hi,

Most probably your gps module can’t see any satellites. Go to the datasheet and find which is the ‘no. of satellites’ among the data. Now observe what value appears at that particular position of the data which you view on the hyperterminal.

$GPGGA,235954.030,0000.0000,N,00000.0000,E,0,00 ( Number of satallite visible) ,,0.0,M,0.0,M,,0000*4C   From this it is clear that no of visible satallite is 0. so try to get minimum three satallite to find location go in open space and try if satallite not found you have to use external antenna.
