Do everyone use HCS08 MCU-s from Freescale? I have a lot of good experience with this 8-bit familly of mcu-s. They are cheap,fast,have enough peripherals and resources for every kind of applications. Only drawback is very expensive development enviroment (Codewarrior and P&E BDM). Freescale have published new free version of Codevarrior which have code limit up to 32kb (instead 4kb). This version is based on Eclipse and have integrated support for P&E USB tag.
I use my own IDE and USB tag for application developement.(www.gaus.rs).
Does anybody use Freescale mcu-s and which developement tools ?
