for a beginer, how to design programmer circuit for 8051

Hello madam/sir,

                   

                      I came to know how to write programmes of interfacing different modules like

LCD, 7 SEGMENT, LED, DRIVING MOTORS….using 8051. i tested using two softwares

 kiel and proteous.

 

Now, i planed to design my own programmer circuit for 8051 i.e for dumping program into

the target i.e 8051/8052.

 

can you help me sir…..by initiating how to proceed …….in step wise(like algorithm)

 

what i have know for designing the my own programmer circuit……

 

can any one guide me in designing the programmer circuit and in telling how to write the program.

Hi,

 

For making a programmer circuit, we first have to fix which controller of 8051/8052 family you are using.

 

If you are using P89V51RD2 from philips, you don’t need a programmer at all. So first inform which controller you are using so that we can help you.

making programmer for 89C51/52/2051/4051 or all microcontrollers of MCS51 series micro controller requires one additional micro controller. that again needs to be programmed. so to make your own programmer you need one another programmer.

 

but as per Mr Dishant said if you use NXPs P89V52RD2 then it supports direct programming through UART.

Thank you sir..i am inerested to learn and develop a programmer circuit .As a beginner

thinking that 8051 is basic microcontroller…i thought to develop programmer circuit for AT89s51.

 

so, can you suggest me how to learn ,to develop a programmer circuit…

using ir sensor

such that my ir sensor connected to 8051 and with

that

any

so, that when when my ir sensor feel some object
we get update just like(people counter)

and i want to connect that at895c1 with computer

via communication…..

There is no inbuilt ADC in 8051….

 

1) so, first select ADC chip which should be interfaced to 8051…ex:ADC0804, TO This chip is connected to the sensor and try for ADC interfacing programming….of 8051

 

microcontroller to PC

 

1) to connect the kit to PC…..Make use of MAX232 in between kit and computer, and try for UART  programming……of 8051

 

just once try it,ok
