Electronic Components for DIY

Where can I buy components to build DIY projects…I find alot of the projects on here and want to try and build some..but I've never had to order components besides what could be found a radio shack. I'm new to DIY and finding components I'ver never used before.. Only thing I've seen in the past was industry purchases, which require large purchases. Thanks for any help!

dont u have electronic components available in local market? or in the near where city market? i think u have to find it out
