how to dump a program on to micro controller, when it is placed on the board??

i mean after placing all the components, how to dump program??

hello, different microcontroller was programmed in every different ways, you can look at http://www.alldatasheet.com for more information on different microcontroller I.C.

if you use NXP's P89V51RD2 microcontroller then it supports ISP – in system programming

means you can program it within the circuit using simple serial interface visit flash-magic website for more details
