drivers for gsm module

im woking on a GSM module which has a serial port. im using a TTL converter to convert it into USB to the laptop. the software i am using is terminal but im unable to select the port in the terminal software.

is there any drivers i should install? if so can somebody please send me a link.

otherwise what is the issue?

yes, you should install the driver software that comes along with the usb-ttl converter
