Drive 4 inch 4 seven segment with battery or low power

Anyone can tell me, how can I drive 4inch 4digit seven segment(common anode or common cathode) using battery or lov power supply??

you can use 7 segment driver chip readily available

or you can use micro controller for the same purpose
