Hi,
I would like to install a door bell that my dog can use to request to enter or exit the house, but I do not want her to be able to ring the bell repeatedly (and drive the family crazy) if we are unable to open the door for her immediatly. I would like to install a circuit that will permit her to ring the bell once, but then prevent the bell from ringing again for a period of time perhaps as long as a minute. I anticipate using a standard doorbell transformer.
Does what I need already exist, and if not, how can I build it?
Thank you in advance,
Dstphila
Hi David,
Apply a mono-shot (mono-stable muti-vibrator) to the circuit and let your dog play with your dorbell.
A monostable multivibrator is a circuit which can change its state (on to off or off to on) after a period of time once triggered and remains in that state.
