What are the differences between DC Motor and Stepper Motor?

DC motor rotates continuously

stepper motor rotates in step of 7.2 degree, 15 degree, 30 degree etc

DC motor requires continuous DC supply of 12 V or 24 V etc

stepper motor requires sequence of pulses in proper manner to rotate

better you search on google for basics of DC motor and stepper motor
