Current measurement from current transformers or current sensors

I need to measure the current consumption for a motor.  How can i measure the current from the current transformer and how to convert the current measurements to proportional voltage? 

Any tested sensors for acurate measurement Please answer…

Hi,

Whenever there is a flow of current across a device, there will be a voltage drop across it. In a micocontroller system you can use an ADC across the motor to read the digital equivalent of that voltage drop, divide it by the resistance of the motor and you will get the value of the current flowing.
