connect single local pc with at89s8253

Hello Everyone !!

 

i have made hardware connection as shown in image. i want to get time from local pc and send it to microcontroller using LAN cable,

 

i have to connect pc with microcontroller directly.(no internet , no router or switch- if it need then tell me how)

how could i do??  any reference code??

why r u connecting micro controller to PC through ethernet?

it can be simply connected by serial port also!!!!!!!
