clock for adc 0809

hw to give clock to adc 0809???? i am interfacing a temp sensor to adc n then to at89s52.. shuld the clock frequency of adc 0809 n the controller be the same????

I guess that frequencies are no need to be same.

Check the datasheet, for adc0808 values are as follows (i think applicable for 0809 also)

minimum frequency- 10khz

typical frequency-640khz

maximum frequency-1280khz
