Please kindly help me it’s very urgent. In the circuit “Celsius scale digital thermometer using 8051 microcontroller (AT89C51)” a 10uf 63V capacitor is shown, is this an electrolytic capacitor or is a ceramic disc capacitor? If it is an electrolytic capacitor then why no polarity is shown? Usually electrolytic and ceramic capacitors have different symbols but in this circuit the same symbol is used for both capacitors shown. Please kindly help me and let me know which way the negatve of the capatitor should go? It is very urgent and I have to submit my project tomorrow. I have built the whole circuit on breadboard but am now stuck due to the unknown polarity of this capacitor.

    Thanking you in advance

    Hi,

I have tried to simulate the circuit and code using Proteus regarding the circuit which is given in the under “”Celsius-scale-thermometer-AT89C51-circuit””.

However I am unable to get any output in the LCD. It seems that the simulation is running fine, but LCD shows no output.

Is there any mistake in the code?
