      Kindly please guide me to buy good books on AVR MCUs which are avilable in India

    Dear anil,

    You agree with me or not, I would say no book is better than the datasheet of the mcu itself. Select any popular avr mcu and learn the datasheet in deep. Get its IDE and try out some sample codes also.

    i preffer the book

     

    “Atmel AVR Microcontroller
    Primer: Programming and
    Interfacing”

     

    this book is avilable online as a pdf

     

    it explains about basics of atmega16

     

    after that reffer to the datasheet for some advanced concepts

    hi buddy

     

    i preffer you to go for

    “pony prog” software if you have serial port (9 pin)in your PC

     

    it consists of a simple programming cable

    very cheep
