need urgent help for my project ie a digital stethescope communicating with an android cell phone using bluetooth…
is arduino board will b appropriate for this project… i have no earlier experience with arduino …. i have worked with atmega 16 in robotics….
please suggest a suitable controller… wot exactly d project does is…. dere is a simple stethescope… the output is taken on a microphone an amplified… then it is given to adc of controller… wch thru bluetooth sends the signals to the android cell phone bluetooth… the phone app displays d input as waveform….. this cud b further extended as any remote location patient can send his data thru this app and internet to a doctor who logs in to the app and views patient data….
please suggest if this cud b done with a normal atmega16 controller and interfacing it with bluetooth module?

please give suggestion really need advice on this project…..

    Hi rubal

I will suggest you to go with Arduino. It's a great platform to work on and you will get a nice support for it from various online communities.

ur project seems to be very good. but how will you send microphone output from bluetooth to any android phone and that is also in form of wave form.

the bluetooth modules available for interfacing with micro controllers can send data in form of string or ASCII characters only and its value can be displayed on cell phone screen
