best programming language for robotics

what programming language will be the best for robotics?

how appopiate will be c language?

As far as I know, C is the basic language for programming. There are other languages available based on C itself, but they dont give the flexibility like C.

it depends upon which platform you choose for making hardware circuit of robot.

if you choose MCS51 then you can use assembly or C any language

C language programming is easier and flexible.
