I have read all the posts regarding this program but still I am unable to program my ATMega128 via USB. Please help as it is a matter of urgency!!! Thankyou..

Hi,

If you are using windows, go to control panel >> device manager and check whether your device is properly listed there as com4. If it is not com4 change the port number accordingly in the avrdude.
