    Hello,

I want to design a auto turn off light circuit for which i'm taking help of http://www.engineersgarage.com/electronic-circuits/porch-light-circuit-diagram circuit i.e, Porch light project published in your website.

    1) The problem is the value of 1 capacitor is not given in the circuit. i wanted help from anyone who can tell me the value of that only 1 capacitor which can be of great help to my project and so that I can resume my work.

    2) The second query is where do I connect the common of the relay in the above mentioned circuit ( Porch light project )

Hope my query is answered as soon as possible.

    Thank you

    Hello Megna,

I think you can use the same capacitor value of other capacitor. And the common of the relay should connected to one of the AC mains terminal and the NO of the relay to the A.C Bulb. another line of the AC line is connected directly to the A.C bulb.

Note :Be careful while working with A.C supply.

Thank you very much Sir. I'm facing problem with the circuit, If I can follow the porch light circuit thttp://www.engineersgarage.com/electronic-circuits/porch-light-circuit-diagram  according to it only an LED is glowing.and other 3 terminals of relay connections are not shown.

Going to try what you've suggested. Hope it works!
