Miscellaneous › Others › about mechanical design of a pick and place robot
hello ,
i wanna make a Pic and Place Robot using Atmega16 microcontroller, what kind of mechanical design should i do?? which motor should i use?? if i use 3 stepper for giving rotation of body & 1 servo for gripe the object , will it be ok?? for gripe 2 fingers is the easiest way, how will i impliment fingers in my design in this case??
can anyone help??
Stepper may not be good as they have less torque to lift the body. Also high torque stepper will be costly and controlling them will make the circuit unnecessay complex.
Use simple DC geared motor or DC motor with gear assembly.
Similarly there is no point using the servo motor instead use simple DC geared motor or DC motor with gear assembly
hi,
I am doing a project on pick and place robotic arm, can anyone help me in the design calculation for the gears arm and their structural rigidity
