Microcontroller › 8051 › 8051- MPC82G516A Inputs
Hi, I’m new to 8051 microcontrollers. I recently purchased a machine, which uses this MPC82G516A 8051 microcontroller. I have managed to re-program it to handle digital outputs using Keil C. However, I’m having problems with inputs.
I have a feeling that some of the inputs could be Analog inputs. One of the pins I checked connected to a sensor had this value:
5.05 volts (nothing blocking the sensor)
5.60 volts (when blocking the sensor)
My question is how would I check for this on an 8051 microcontroller specicily the MPC82G516A if possible.
Thank you for your time,
Cameron.
Hi,
This is somhow tricky..
First answer few questions.!!
What is the power supply given to the sensor ?
Try with dfferent postion and distance and see variation inoutput..!!
To convert this output into a digital which controller can understand, u need to use comparator circuit…!!
All the best..!!
Have u tested this ??
