    hi gyz did anyone knows how to interface SM630 fingerprint module with 8051. how to write the codes.

    u want interface fingern print first you connect module to pc and check hyper terminal coonnection ,analysis how its work after u interface with 8051

    hi Balaji

                i connected fingerprint to pc via the software given with the fingerprint module to add, delete and search the fingerprint. As you said , if i connect it to hyperterminal can i send communication packet to module?

     
    One communication packet includes the following:
     
    Packet Head(2 bytes)
    Packet flag(1 byte?)
    Packet length(1 byte)
    Packet Content(N bytes)

    Check sum(1 byte)
