hi, using adc0804 can we send a 16 bit data from an sensor(temp sensor) to any microcontroller? (well thing is to get appropriate value using floating point conversion of data.)

which temperature sensor are you using and for what application

LM35 sensors…and also LDR sensor too…well we are developing an data acquisation system to store sensor data as many sensor(especially application is useful for small industries) to monitor all sensors data

i suggest you to use ADC 0848. it has eight multiplexed channels through which it recieves analog signal so you can connect both your lm 35 and ldr sensors by selecting an appropriate step size.

adc0804 has only one input so you can give it input from either lm35 or ldr. also you must note that the output of adc0804 is an 8 bit parallel. then how can you send 16 bits
